Dear Waistline,
I was deeply sadden by your sudden disappearance nine months ago. I longed for the day I would see you again. I hoped your journey back would not take too long, and I am pleased that you decided to return to me. Thanks for coming home waistline. You were sure missed!

Happy Birthday!
This is Kyler's birth story and mainly for me to have to remember it by. Feel free to read. It isn't very exciting.
September 17th came and passed and I still looked like this...
September 17th came and passed and I still looked like this...
I wasn't expecting to deliver before or on my due date because I felt so good. Some nights I would have minor lower back pain but other than that I could do anything and felt fantastic. I felt so good in fact that I was scheduled for an induction on September 19th. I didn't feel good about it and called the hospital at 12:30am and cancelled. Thursday, September 20th, Danny and I were in charge of Pack Meeting, but Danny had an impromptu meeting with some guys from John Deer and I did Pack Meeting by myself. It was a piece of cake. I got home put everything away and Danny got home shortly after. Earlier that day he had promised me he would go on a walk with me for as far as I wanted. I wanted to walk around our block, about a mile. Not too far. We start walking and I change my mind and we go maybe a quarter of a mile. We were only a short distance away when I started to have pain. We kept up the pace, but once we were three quarters of the way done I had to slow way down and was hurting. We got home and got ready for bed, watched some T.V. and then went to sleep around 11:30. At 12:30 a.m. I woke up from my half sleep state and dreaming of having pain. I went to the bathroom and realized I was hurting. I took a bath and assumed the pain were contractions but wasn't sure. So in the tub I try to time them out but couldn't remember it. I got out and set myself up in the living room to time them. Danny comes out...
D- what's up?
B-I just needed to take a bath.
D-What are you doing out here?
B-I'm just going to watch some T.V.
D-Are you in labor?
B-I might be. I'm going to time the contractions...
haha I sent him back to bed.
My contractions were 3-5 minutes apart lasting for 45 seconds to one minute and fifteen seconds for over an hour. When the pain got to bad around 3am I went and told Danny that I was ready to get ready to go to the hospital. We left about 4:30 and were admitted around 6am. I was offered an epidural as soon as I got the I.V. in but declined because I was afraid of the needle. Haha The doctor broke my water at 7am and I got my first epidural at 8:25 am. It made things ten times worse. I felt like I had been hit by a truck. So the anesthesiology came back and redid my epidural at 9:33. Within seconds I was getting the tingle feeling and within less the five minutes I was sound asleep. Danny said shortly after they came in and hooked me up to Pitocin. I slept all day. I woke up about every hour in a half to two hours for about 15 minutes. At noon I was checked and was at a five and Kyler was still really high up. At 5:15 the nurse came back in and had to wake me up to check me. I was at nine and he was ready to come. She called the dr. got things ready and at 5:30pm I started to push. I had to push hard for about five contractions and then pushed only a little for a couple of contractions and then just let my body do the work until the dr arrived. Once he was ready I pushed three times for one contractions and Kyler was here. He arrived at 5:59pm. 8 pounds 1 ounce 20.75 inches long and PERFECT!
Needless to say, we fell in love instantly! We left the hospital 26 hours after he was born. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect baby. Kyler, we love you so much!

Relief Society...
I have to start going to Relief Society on Sundays now. Yes, it is a have to...not get too. It is much more boring then Young Women's, and much MUCH more boring then being in primary. Wish me luck...I just might fake labor every Sunday to get out of it.
Roller Coaster Ride
Danny and I were packing everything up and getting ready to hit the road. Adios Rexburg, Hola Post Falls. Things were coming along. Half the house was packed. We hit the road on a Thursday (much MUCH later then we wanted to...eh hem (not our fault)), and traveled up north. We spent all day Friday looking for a place to live. When we were driving to put our application in to the best of the worst I made the comment, "this just doesn't feel right. I don't know what we are doing." To which my lovely husband responds, "we felt good about me going to school here, WE ARE DOING IT!" BRING IT ON! We put in the application, paid the money and headed west to our week long vaca with his family. Driving home, a week later, Danny breaks. It didn't feel right. We discussed all our options for three hours on our much longer drive home. Decision made. Call and get Danny into all online classes. Cancel and lose our money on the town home. Get to work getting our small house ready to be a home for a us and a baby. It was the right decision. I chose a doctor, (first time I chose a Dr. for this baby) know where I am delivering, living room painted, trim painted, shelves are made, I know how I am putting my living room, and much much more great things. But there are the bad...I won't go into them, no one really wants to know that stuff anyways, but it is rough. And HELLLLOOO EMOTIONS! I cry at the slightest thing. Danny says something, not meant to be mean or harsh, and I bust out the waterworks. No control. But I must give credit where credit is due. Danny is a TROOPER and I couldn't have picked a better one. He is patient. He is hard working. He is kind. He is gentle. But most importantly, he loves me, and I couldn't think of a better companion to be on this roller coaster ride with.

Truths on Pregnancy Real World
My opinions, please do not choose to be offended if this is you...
1. No one but your family and close (not Facebook) friends want to see ultrasound pictures. It's true.
2. No one but your family and close friends want to know every detail about your pregnancy. It's true.
3. No one wants to hear about how miserable you are during pregnancy. Its true.
4. No one wants to hear you complain about your pregnancy because it is a blessing to be pregnant. It's true.
5. You can be excited about being pregnant, but unless you make people hunt for information about you being pregnant, understand that the rest of us can do without. It's true.

Pregnant and I know it...
I was told by a friend (when she found out I was pregnant) that if my pregnancy didn't make my blog then she had no idea what would. That was about a month in a half to two months ago. I have tried to blog about it often however I am uneasy because of so many people who have a hard time getting pregnant and every time they hear about someone else it makes them depressed. I didn't want to cause someone hurt, but I also just couldn't think of anything clever to say about. I sure wish I was clever and witty like Anna. Alas I am not, which is probably why I did not major in English and teach English.
So with no further ado, I am pregnant, with a boy, and am 20 weeks. WOW! I know. I am growing everyday. Last night my tummy was super tight and my loving husband said, just wait till the morning, you won't be tight anymore but you'll have some more stretch marks. Yep. Fantastic. Just what I want to hear. hahaha But so completely true. Thanks babe for loving my ever growing belly. I HATED the first trimester. I was queezy until week fourteen. But I am LOVING the second trimester. I have energy. I am getting tons done. (mainly sewing) and keeping my house clean. I can feel the little man move. Today he is super active. Swimming wherever he can fit. What will I need for the new addition? Any advise. I am open to it. However, I am promising to not use the majority of it.

Pomp and Circumstance...
I think not...Danny and I graduated December 17th. After the huge event on the 16th, my parents made the comment, "Wow, that felt like General Conference". There was no traditional Pomp and Circumstance song, there was no clapping, there was no shouting or congratulating or encouraging us for the future. It was General Conference. The president of the Unversity, Brother Clark started off by explaining to everyone that there will be no clapping or shouting or congratulating. Elder Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve spoke, to be honest I quit listening. It was about how we will influence people everywhere we go. Ya I've been taught that since I was three so I tuned out. Our VP of the University, Brother Eyring, (President Eyring's son) spoke as well. That was a good talk. Still not so much encouragement as warning. I had a grand total of 3 friends who were graduating, Celina, Sarah, and of course Hubs.
I'm sure my parents and his parents have better pictures, but this is what I have to work with from our Ipod Touch. Sorry. However, we are DONE! For now. At least two more years are calling out for D, where you ask? NO CLUE! The world is at our hands.

Student Teaching
I started student teaching on September 6th. Ohh what a journey it has been. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE those little kiddos! kiddos just have a way of making days better, give me a reason to laugh, They inspire me to be better, and I just realized I have never passed a demeaning judgement against any of them. They try to please, even at age 9 and 10. I was scared to death to teach fourth graders, but I have truly enjoyed them. I am nervous for those sweet spirits when the time comes that I am done. I am nervous they are going to be broken from their teacher. She is sarcastic, yells, rude, and it makes me uncomfortable. I am the light in the classroom. They can come to me, tell me what is going on their lives, exciting, or sad. They tell me they love me and don't want me to leave. They also tell me that their "real" teacher is mean, and scary. They don't like her. It breaks my heart. I have 17 days left and am completely torn. I don't want to leave those cute kiddos who have touched my heart, but at the same time I cannot wait to get out of her classroom. WISH ME LUCK ON FINDING A JOB! :/
Water Wheel?
Ohh hey, did I mention we are going back in time. Danny had been researching, talking, dreaming, and more researching about water wheels, so he and his dad made one...it's in our back ditch, and with the ditch full it pumps about 2 gallons a minute...sometimes I wonder who I married. I must say though that I will never have to worry if something terrible happened in the world. L.O.V.E. HIM!
Need to get better
I sure need to get better at blogging...seven months is too long, however since we don't have kids, I feel like I have nothing to blog about. Here's to me getting better at blogging!
First off, MY BROTHER GOT HOME FROM HIS MISSION! He served for two years in Argentina! It was fantastic being able to be home with him for a few days.
Danny and I surprised Nathan at his gate. I was so nervous he would recognize me before I would be able to get a couple pictures snapped of my getting off the plane. He turned his head, double or triple looked at me, then walked over and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! hahaha It was fantastic! He is one of my best friends!

So Much to post....
So read at your risk.
Whelp, we finished another semester. We did really well too! So we decided to reward ourselves with a vacation to California were we stayed with our Fernandez friends, and went to my cousins wedding. Now I am starting my second to last semester TOMORROW, while Danny is playing (or he refers to it as working) with his friend Mike on his Sheep Dairy. He is so excited to have 4.5 months off, while I am excited to be done COMPLETELY in December. I took and PASSED my two required Praxis tests that I need in order to be certified to teach and am now trying to figure out what two more Praxis tests I should take in what subjects to be certified for middle school.
Well back to our California trip! Our friend Sara came to Rexburg on Wednesday to go to a teacher fair. She needed to go to Salt Lake on Friday to tour a school for a possible job, so I wake up go to work, run to my last class, and Danny drops her off at campus. We then proceed to drive to SLC, she visits the school for like 45 mins, and we drive back. We get home and get ready to leave to CA in the morning. The title we used for the week was ADVENTURE! We wake up get everyone in the car and leave. I am driving and the other 3 are sleeping. Danny wakes up and starts talking to me and I miss the exit I needed. Then in Wells, we were told our tires were incredibly worn down, (and they were), so we ended up purchasing 4 brand spankin' new tires. We get them on and get back on the highway to find feel and hear our car start to shake and go crazy. We go back, and they hadn't balanced one wheel right. So we get back on. We arrived! Sara and Juan were WONDERFUL to us! They took us to the redwood forest, to Santa Cruz Beach, Pier 39, Fisherman's Warf, Gheradelli Square, Boudin's Sour Dough Bread Factory, and China Town and Fort Point. Sara's mom took us to Costco to LOAD up on Boudin's Sour Dough bread and then Juan and Sara made a most delicious Carne Asada dinner! YUM! WE LOVED HAVING FRIENDS and cannot wait to play with them more in the future!
We got our two cows for the year and 25 chickens, and by the end of today we will have 6 little piggys! Another adventure.
We also celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We celebrated in style. We woke up, went to his parents house for biscuits made by their Georgian friends. Went and picked up pigs, went to campus with our Ellis friends, and Angie, built one side of our fence for our pasture with Josh, fed cows, went to the Dairy and milked cows and sheep, went back to the Mortensen's for some dinner, showered and went and played laser tag with Angie, Josh, Ben and Becca, and Derek and Starla. It was such a fun day, not nearly what I had in mind, but it was great fun! I can't believe a year has already passed and yet I can't believe it has only been a year. Until next time...

Some Things I've Learned
1. I cannot shop when 1. I am very very hungry. I buy the entire grocery store. and 2. I cannot shop when I have to go to the bathroom sooooo bad that my teeth tingle. I unfortunately made this second mistake this past week. I was in a hurry, bundled up because of the cold weather and did not want to stop to go to the bathroom. I went in grabbed some pepperoni got home and realized it was TURKEY pepperoni. Positive=70% less fat than original pepperoni. Wonderful. Doesn't taste the same but will do.
2. Marriage is SOOOOOO NOT WORTH IT! Since being married I have learned that people LOVE giving gifts to married couples because everything is LESS EXPENSIVE. My parents did a much smaller Christmas for me, and Danny. His parents was a small Christmas. No presents from friends, (that shouldn't be a shocker since I don't really have any friends up here), a smaller Christmas money amount from G-parents, and the worst part.....NO BIRTHDAY CHECK from G-parents. Hillary, this goes out to you. Save yourself! Do not get married! You will regret it when you learn that EVERYONE takes advantage of it and you get NOTHING!!!
3. I hate school! 3 semesters left. I can do it.
4. I HATE being alone. I have been alone this entire week (minus sleeping and school which doesn't count) and it sucks. Oh well. I am still waiting for my sidekick and companion to arrive in the mail...that's what I signed up for when I got married right? Where is mine?

Boring!
Life as we know it is B.O.R.I.N.G! Last night to ring in the New Year, I was sleeping, in my bed, with a dog we are sitting, by 10. Danny was at his parents. How spectacular. Then today, Danny has been working doing projects ALL day. So what have I been doing? Wasting my time on Facebook, and reading. I could be cleaning my house. Goodness, I am still not done and have been working all break on it. Yes, we have never completely moved in and organized, so that is what I have been doing. Talk about a blast! I need friends to play with! Here I was thinking that when I got married, I would never be bored because I always had my best friend to do stuff with. How wrong I was. I was wrong and now I can't even get my stupid thing to turn normal writing. hahaha How am I so computer illiterate when I have grown up with them? That is the question. Look I fixed it. I want people off their missions so I can text them whenever I want and not wait, a week, a month, even two months to get a response. I want to have things I can do to be crafty. I want to sew a quilt. I want to scrapbook...scrapbook what exactly? I don't know. We don't EVER and I mean E.V.E.R take pictures. What would we take them of? We are sooo incredibly boring. Before we got married our friends joked around that we were already that "old married couple." However, being married has only made it worse. Now don't get me wrong. We have lots of fun being married and I love it! I wouldn't change it for the world, but we are just boring. We don't go anywhere, we don't do anything. We are B.O.R.I.N.G I don't know how else to describe it. I want to have time for fun, unfortunately my fun is not the same as Danny's fun. haha Oh well. I guess I'll go back to blog stalking, facebook stalking, and maybe even read some more. Whatever happen to chips, dip, little wienies, and tons of games and movies and family time during the holiday season? It stayed in CO, while I am stuck in cold, snowy, BORING Idaho. Bring on the books!

P.S.
Does anyone know how to make my blog look cute, and add pictures in the middle of things. I can do GRAND things with pictures.

Can't wait to write her and tell her. She'll think I'm crazy. Excited to go to a new ward. I want a good calling. Like Primary or YW. Overall, life is MARVELOUS! I have a loving husband who I can talk to about ANYTHING. He is a great help and loves me. I am sooo grateful for him and my loving family! I love the Lord and am grateful to be in His gospel.
More Random Thoughts From Work
1. Red heads and Aerial? Seriously? Every girl who has red hair, or is on the orange/red shade thinks that her favorite person in their world is Aerial. She is their Disney Princess. Hello!!! There are countless other famous red heads! Find one and choose them! Forget Aerial. Kelsey Farmer, if you read this in the future you are excluded. I have always thought Aerial is YOUR princess. Maybe that's why I hate everyone else claiming her.
2. I hate going to the bathroom in public. When I was a little kid, I would be at one of two friends houses. They both have memories of me running home, going to the bathroom, and then coming back when I was done. I don't know. There is just something about going to the bathroom where EVERYONE else goes that just seems unsanitary. They hear you pee, can smell when you poop. Not cool. I would rather, in deed I do, hold my bowels for HOURS sometimes days before I go. I have come to terms with peeing in public. That, I cannot hold as long.
3. There are girls who can wear and WALK in high heels, and there are the girls who can't. I LOVE watching those girls. They try so hard. They want to look good, they want to be "girly", however, may I suggest MUCH practice behind closed doors, or flats. These girls wobble, and walk way hunched forward. It is just not a pleasant sight. Flats. Flats are you only choice.
4. The other day, (a week or more ago) I was talking to my dad. There is someone who we know, who got married just over a year ago, and had a baby right around their 1 year anniversary. My dad made the comment, "Can you believe Peter had a baby!!!!??? They haven't been married that long!!!!" To which I responded, " Dad, they waited 1 month more than you and Mom did! Talk about not waiting long!" His only response, "well that doesn't matter. I'm just glad you're not pregnant." hahahahah thanks Dad. Danny and I are glad too! :)
5. If you know me really well, you know I LOVE, ADORE, PRAISE, EAT UP, CAN SPEND DAYS with kids, babies, anyone 5+ years younger than me and be completely in Heaven. I have babysat/nannied since I was 12. I just love babies, toddlers, kids, all of it! However, I am pretty sure those who know me as "married Brittney" would not guess that AT ALL. I do not offer to hold others babies. I do not want to touch them. A girl I visit teach has a like 5/6 mo baby. I always make comments about how I HATE spit up, (I do I won't deny it), among other things. Mainly, I am just not ready to be a Mom yet. The 3 of us always joke about me. I just don't think my motherly instincts have kicked in yet. Must mean it isn't time for me to be one. However, COME ON, COME ALL, I'll charge $9 an hour and watch all your little ones! (They go home at the end of the day)
6. Have you noticed ALL the different people getting divorced. I don't know reasons, but WOW it is crazy.
7. I am sitting here (at work) watching an Asian guy (not sure why I had to say his ethnicity) belly laugh while he is on the computer. Like whole body moving because he is laughing. Man, I guess I just learned how look to others when I am sitting here watching movies and laughing and heart out. Opps. Don't judge.
8. I LIVE for the events of other peoples' lives, good or bad. I love listening to problems and helping them find solutions. I love giving advise. I love being "in the know" with all the happenings. Does that mean I love gossip? Whelp probably, but hey, at least I am not spreading it, and I try to help solve it. I just like OTHER PEOPLES drama!
9. Those wheely shoes? Are they really necessary? I submit, they are not.
10. Is sooooooo ready for Spring. I want more pigs and cows to love on and pet and feed!
11. Wishes I was as cool as the Kesler Family. I want to do fun and crazy things. I want to have adventures with my husband. I WANT TO DO THINGS, TRAVEL, HAVE FUN!!!! But alas, we are lame. Someone please teach us how to have fun!!!!!
12. Lastly, we are dog sitting. I do not, and WILL NOT have a dog of my own until we have a larger home, and a fenced in back yard.

Gum...you are my arch enemy
Have you ever wondered what life would be like with children?
I don't have to wonder, we have the same mishaps, mess-ups, and mayhem, with just the two of us as we would with children. Chicken hunting, cow, chasing, hog slaughtering, house keeping, school work, redoing a bathroom, and yes even laundry. Chicken hunting takes time patience, and a keen eye. Cow chasing takes brains, agility, and the ability to know where the cow is going before they move, hog slaughtering just hurts because they are your children, house keeping of two students, employees, and fun people, impossible. School work=too busy, you help me with this, I'll help you with that. Bathroom? Well that is self-explanatory. And laundry. I do not mind doing laundry. Even when Danny and I were dating I did his laundry. Thats the first time it happened. I opened the dryer, a strong scent of speariment whaffed through the house. "DAAAAANNNYYYYY" Gum! All over your clothes! You got to empty your pockets. Married life hits. And this past month I have had to goo gone gum out of the dryer twice. Danny always says, Sometimes I forget to empty them out. So you need to double check. Well He was being nice and put a load of laundry in. I go to take it from the washer to dryer and when I open the washer, what do I smell??!?!??! SPEARMENT! Ohhh did I scream! I made Danny come in, and tell me what was wrong with this picture. GUM EVERYWHERE! He says, why didn't you check my pockets, and I lovingly retort, YOU PUT THIS LOAD IN!!!!! Well endless teasing occured. But a lesson learned? Probably not. Why have kids, I have a husband.

Random Thoughts
So while I sit at work am allowed to do nothing, I have tons of random thoughts. Here are a few:
1. What is the deal with automatic flushing toilets? I have love hate relationship with them. I love the fact that you never have to touch some gross, grimy, handle to make everything disappear, however, have you ever felt like those automatic toilets are limiting the time they want you in stall? I don't know about you, but the second I stand up "woosh" down everything goes, and I haven't even finished pulling up, tucking in, zip, button, and pull down. Then I feel silly because I walk out five minutes after it's flushed and I know people are just thinking, "wow what else did you do in there?" So automatic flushing toilets, can please not rush me everytime I use you?
2. Handicapped doors vs. Lazy people. Oh my word! Have you ever realized how slowly those doors open? Well I have. And lazy people who do not even NEED to use them decide they are perfect for them. They push the button, wait thirty seconds, can barely slip in between the doors at this rate and then do it again with the second door. Do they realize with all that waiting and maneuvering, they could have meandered up to the third floor of the Library and back down again? Silly people, those doors aren't for you. Stop being lazy.
3. So because of the long hours Danny and I are on campus, and while it was still warm outside, I put blankets and pillows in the back of my car so that after my classes, I could take a comfortable nap. I would cuddle up, do some homework, then fall asleep. It was the perfect arrangement. Here is what I loved most about it. Again, the lazy people who are trying to find a close parking spot to the building. They see that I am opening up the back door, putting my stuff in, taking off my shoes, and making my make shift day bed. The second they spot me walking out the building doors with keys in hand, the blinker goes on, and they stalk me to my car. Watching my ritual they sit and wait. The door closes, I pull out the homework I desire to work on, the car is still waiting. I start working on it. I text my friend to tell her how ridiculous this car is, and finally after they start inching forward not wanting to get too close in case I am going to be backing up with no engine, or backup lights they try to assess the situation. Finally, after waiting for a good 5-10 minutes (depending on how lazy they are really are) zoom away in hopes of another close parking spot. Sorry buddy. Because you sat there for 10 minutes, you missed all the other 30 spots that had opened up. Ever heard of exercise?
4. Married friends who think that just because they are wanting to get pregnant, that I do to. You know who you are... B.P. What's up with that?
5. Registration. Seriously? You think they would have it figured out by now to make it work correctly.

SURPRISE!
Danny has Wednesdays off....therefore creating Tuesday night and Wednesday as "our weekend". I have been bugging Danny to "do something fun with me". And he did! He took Thursday off. Wednesday morning we woke up bright and early to go Huckleberry picking with his parents. We tried going where our renter told us they were really good, however we got lost and didn't go to the right spot. We kept driving around and just as 3/4 of us had given up hope, WE FOUND SOME! It was a blast! On the way home Dale had us stop at BIG JUDD'S! SOOOO DELICIOUS!
Danny and I get back to our house and he tells me to pack an over night bag that we are going to go do something in Pocatello and maybe spend the night there....so I do. We leave and arrive at The Black Swan Inn Themed Suites. What a surprise! Danny had reserved Pirates Sea Boat as our room. SO FUN! We fell in love with the two-person jetted tub! We went to dinner and slept in. Danny called it "our little honeymoon" since we didn't really get alone time after our wedding and before we started school. He is such a stud! I just love him!
Another surprise? Yep. Danny woke up Friday morning not feeling well....JOY! So he goes to work and suffers through the day since our friend's girlfriend came up yesterday. I go pick him up because he doesn't want to ride his motorcycle in the rain, not feeling good. We climbs into bed, I drug him and push liquids down him. I was excited because I was going to be asleep before 10pm!!!! How wrong I was. As I am drifting into sleep, (GROSS WARNING) Danny starts to vomit in his bowl. So I get him a warm rag to wash his face with, and I clean out the bowl so he can have it when he needs it again. He feels way better. We try going to sleep. Finally around 3 or 3:30 neither of us can sleep very well, both our backs hurt and we are both to toss and turny. So naturally, I move to the ground. (if you have ever lived with me, this is not an uncommon occurrence. I sleep WAY better on the floor when I hurt, don't feel good, or can't sleep.) What do you know...? I slept five hours straight. Far cry from my normal 9, but it's Saturday. Saturday is a special day. The day to get ready for Sunday, and boy do I have A LOT to do!
